Zweitse attended the Rietveld academy in Amsterdam. After that he became a designer for the company Goedewaagen in Gouda. With beautiful designs such as the Maestro service with which he won the design prize in Milan. In 1957 he became a senior lecturer of the ceramics department at the academy ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Once he arrived in ‘s-Hertogenbosch he came into contact with Cor Unum. Zweitse led Cor Unum as artistic director for 30 years, but the design was also out of his hand. There are still designs from Zweitse in the production of Cor Unum.
