The background is composed of sheet music from Junge Musikanten (Germany, ca. 1920), a collection of simple compositions for young musicians—music meant to be learned, repeated, and lived with. These pages carry traces of rhythm, structure, and tradition, recalling a time when music was tangible and passed on by hand.
Across this historical grid, a new form emerges. The fluid, almost playful figure seems to break away from the rigid lines of the staff. What was once fixed in measure and notation transforms into movement and imagination.
The work bridges past and present: the discipline of then and the freedom of now. It marks a shift from following to creating—from playing notes to inventing them.
